Managing your Holiday Time
Do you ever feel that during the holidays you don’t have quite enough time to do everything you want? Here are some tips to keep you on track.
-Make a ‘To Do’ list but divide your tasks into 2 categories: ‘to do’ and ‘want to do’. Don’t worry about the ‘want to do’ category unless you absolutely have time.
-Get help! Enlist friends and family members to help by delegating some tasks
-Try shopping online to purchase gifts. The malls get so busy that it almost takes more time finding a parking space and waiting in line than actually shopping.
-Schedule some fun time or down time in with the rest of your to-dos. Force yourself to take some time on your own.
-Try to group tasks that can be done together to try and save time. Things such as holiday shopping and running errands can be placed in the same trip.

* * * GOING GREEN * * *
With the latest emphasis on global warming, here are some tips to help you ‘go green’ and make a difference!
Change A Light Bulb
By replacing a standard bulb with a compact fluorescent one you will get more light for less money and save a lot of energy.
Keep The Car At Home
Most driving trips are under five miles, and you'd be surprised how many are under one mile. Try walking, biking, skateboarding, roller-skating, or taking the bus.
Quit Throwing Away BatteriesYou can use batteries that can be recharged over and over. You should also find out if there are companies in your area that recycle batteries.
Turn Off The Lights
This is such a simple thing to do, but sometimes it's so hard to remember!
Reuse A Bag
Some people carry a canvas or mesh bag they can use over and over. If you must use a paper or plastic bag, don't throw it away. Try to use the bag over and over--as many times as you can.
Don't Buy Aerosols
Aerosols can't be recycled--which means that they are guaranteed to end up in landfills. Instead of aerosols, look for spray bottles, liquids, powders, and roll-ons.
